In striving to offer our customers the best products and services available, we have greatly expanded our range of canvas options. We now offer a custom canvas stretching service with a massive range of 16 types of canvas to choose from! This includes cotton and linen, clear primed, universal primed and oil primed- all imported directly from Italy and France (no Middleman!). The quality speaks for itself.
What sets us apart:
The Canvas Company manufactures from SUSTAINABLY SOURCED wood that is imported from Austria. This wood is highly respected for its archival qualities -stable, light and resistant to moisture and insect damage.

We have a new innovative way of stretching canvasses that has never before been available in SA.
Not only does it look great, but functionally it works much better than the old wedge system, ensuring that your canvases will always remain tight. This easy to use system will fully expand your canvas frame faster and much easier than wedges- and the best part is that your wedges wont fall out and get lost!
We stretch and prepare them to exacting specifications for amateur and professional artists alike. All you’ll have to do is paint!
We offer a very wide range of prices, with canvas ranging from R193.00 per sq metre for universal primed Italian cotton, all the way up to hand oil primed linen at R1560.00
