Impasto medium

Veronese medium gives an impasto appearance with a matt finish. Vegetable oil and natural resin base adds thickness and relief. Firm paste but light under the brush.

Rapid drying characteristics make it an ideal product for ‘alla prima’ studies.

For thick coats, it should be mixed with Van Eyck Medium, or oil, to make the paste flexible and more resistant to cracking. Becomes more matte if turpentine is added.
Do not add driers.
